Pot Meets Pop - Pot Sound Aloha Shirt

Pot Meets Pop pays tribute to its deep love for Ska music, a music genre that is often cited to begin as an early precursor to reggae and rocksteady, originating in Jamaica where people mixed the sounds of Caribbean mento and calypso with American jazz. 

Titled “Welcome to Skaville”, the expansive collection is heavily influenced by several Ska musicians from as early as the original Jamaican ska, the 2 Tone, and third wave ska, such as Desmond Dekker, Bad Manners, and No Doubt. To recognize the genre’s unique appeal, Pot Meets Pop’s latest drop presents a range of items including a handful selection of outerwear, such as Souvenir Jacket emblazoned with ‘Beat Master’ vinyl in an iridescent finish, Harrington jacket with a graphic referencing the Ska outfit in its heyday, and some others with bootlegged graphics inspired by the all-time greats. Accompanying the outers, some graphic-heavy articles inspired by the genre highlight the collection, including graphic tees, sweatshirts, aloha shirts, and pants.
